This comes as no surprise to me - working as a Geriatric Care Manager I have been a witness to this misconduct fo years. I have observed many of my elderly clients been bamboozled by these con artists. Promises of a no cost plan, a hundred dollars a month to cover over counter drugs, fabulous benefits... all mean nothing. They have been lying to the American public for years and getting away with it. One of the worst things these plans do is either not allow a senior into a rehab facility when they need intensive physical therapy or boot them out of rehab after only two weeks. I have gotten hundreds of calls from families complaining about this.
I am thrilled to see that our government is finally taking some action and hope to see these criminals be dealt with finally.
