Should I get a flu vaccination?

Yes, yes, yes - simple answer to a simple question. If you are elderly, disabled, are immune suppressed then it becomes even more critical to get vaccinated this flu season and the time to do it is now. Once you are over 65 your are not only more susceptible to catching the flu but your immune system doesn't work as hard to produce enough antibodies to fight off the bugs. So you can get a special vaccine for senior citizens! There are actually two types to choose from a high dose flu vaccine, also called Fluzone, and the adjuvanted flu vaccine, known as Fluad. Talk to your doctor about which is the best for you and your loved ones.

Please don't wait - this year more than ever it is so important to get a flu shot!
