The vast majority of us want to remain in our homes when we get older. I have never talked to a person who told me "Yes, I really want to move into a nursing home". But our system makes it hard for our elderly with dementia to stay at home. #dementia The biggest challenge? Safey. Safely of the person with dementia and at time the safety of the family.
