"Mutual Aid" groups are a informal support networks that have been increasing exponentially since the beginning of COVID-19. These volunteers help their neighbors with getting groceries, transportation, check in calls, and other supports....A New York Times writer described Mutual Aid Networks as a "a spiritual balm — an uplifting, real-time document of people helping people."


Here in the Hudson Valley there are many mutual aid groups sprouting up The Hudson Valley Mutual Aid Network has a rich resource page for resources in the counties in this region. The group also has a active Facebook page where you can ask for and find help.
